I have no idea where the last month has gone since reviewing the September Little Known Box, but somewhere amongst the daze of birthdays and sickness another month has flown past. So I thought o would give you a whistle-stop tour of the wonderful items included in the October little Known Box once again this box has got me feeling all warm, cosy and ready to sit down and relax each evening in front of the fire and really try to relax where I can. So lets take a look to see what they included in their October Super Natural Box;
We all know that argan oil is a wonderous product with many benefits to skin and hair and nails. Simply Argan is a high quality pure, organic and cold pressed argan oil. Simply argan offer an impressive range of argan based products and a brouchure was added to this months box.
I have used this on my skin mainly and I have to admit at first I thought it would smell beautiful looking at its stunning packaging, but actually it doesn’t really smell of much – however reading up it states that there is no artificial colourings, preservations or perfumes, so it truly is an all natural product. My skin and hair is really feeling the bitterly cold weather we are having at the moment so this has been a very welcome product.
PHB Ethical Beauty Lip Crayon – £8.95
PHB is a ethical beauty brand which I have discovered through LKB and they do make some wonderful products. The Lip crayon I received from them is absolutely spot on the perfect colour for me. Its a lovely creamy formula and I simple love it!
Kitenest Natural Lip Balm – £3.00
This orange lip balm from Kitenest smells wonderful, it really encapsulates the essence of Christmas / winter in this lip balm, with an almost chocolate orange scent. Kitenest products are individually crafted and handmade in Lincolnshire. This time of the year always brings cold weather that makes it a tough time for our lips so applying this balm should help keep you being kissable for any fleeting moments under the mistletoe!
I really like the balms in tins as you get a great amount of product and they are a bargain at just £3 each!
The Konjac Sponge Company – Facial Sponge – £8.99
I have tried sponges similar to this before but I’m just to use this one. The are hard to touch at first but once you soak them they turn almost gelatinous and spongy – which makes them soft to use but has good texture to ensure it cleans your face well and washes those impurities away.
The Konjac sponge I received was the rich red clay sponge for dry or mature skin – my skin is both of these things, so I really need to give it a whirl to see if it helps to reveal a more radiant version of my skin!
Urban Veda Body Scrub
Urban Veda is a UK-based company and make products that help maintain the skins natural balance and focus on the therapeutic properties of plants.
This body scrub smells lovely and I as soon as I have used up my other body scrub I’m giving this one a whirl. Urban Veda also sent some reviving facial oil, which I’m currently let soak into my skin whilst writing this blog post! A little bit of this product goes a long way! It’s a great way to nourish your skin overnight.
