SENSSE Silicone Cleansing Brush *

Hi Dolls

It feels like a while since I’ve been on here talking about skin care and make up and the truth is I’ve been using loving the products I have been using I haven’t been mixing things up too much. Being a beauty blogger should indicate that I’m the one here who should trial things out and see how they perform for me and when it comes to skincare I always feel you have to trial a product for a good amount of time before you can truly give a fair review.

So today I wanted to chat through a beauty tool that has become part of my skin care routine over the last 6 weeks and I really rather like it! The Sensse Silicone Facial Cleansing Brush is a perfect palm sized silicone cleansing tool that has three bristle types with six settings that allows you to really perfect your treatment that is perfect to cater to your skin’s needs.

This is a smart cleansing brush that combines thorough cleansing and anti-ageing in one device.

Its key features are:

  • 6 intensity levels
  • 3 bristle types
  • built-in timer
  • shut off after 3 minutes
  • 180 uses from a single charge
  • splash proof

Sense describes this brush as “Each silicone bristle is kind and gentle to the skin yet effectively draws out any dirt and impurities for healthy-looking, glowing skin. Featuring a unique bristle pattern to follow the contours of the face for deep cleansing”.

I have tried a few cleansing brushes, but they have all been bristle brushes and although they are good they can be expensive to maintain as you need to purchase new heads for them as they harbour bacteria. So they are an added maintenance cost but the Sensse brush is just a one-off purchase which cleans easily and no further associated costs.

For me I want sure at first how well the would offer a deep cleanse but I was so surprised at the different setting you can use and actually the intensity of the vibrations is really good! It’s actually a really enjoyable process and its left my skin feeling really great lately. I’m a girl who loves to double cleanse and this brush has firmly become part of my skin care routine.

We have been experiencing such heat recently here in the UK its amazing but it does mean that you really need to ramp up your skin care and so I have been using 2 cleansers and 3 – yes 3! moisturisers alongside the Sensse cleansing brush, add a little face mask here and there and my skin is looking super clear and glowing and at 38 years old I’m really happy with how my skin is now looking. I wouldn’t say I look younger – as lets face it that’s a big ask, however my skin looks, brighter, smoother, clearer and has a better even skin tone and I put this down to an altogether better skin care routine with this cleansing playing a big part in this.

Using this brush is super easy and it fits comfortably in the pal of our hand and just a push of the button helps you choose the right setting to suit your need, making it perfectly customised to your skin. I feel this can be as gentle as you want it to be, or increase the intensity and press hard if you want a harder deeper cleanse.

Every Sensse Silicone Facial Cleansing Brush comes with a 2-Year Warranty and comes beautifully packaged in a sturdy white box along with charger, instructions and a really pretty pink glitter bag which is ideal if you want to take it away with you.  At £39.99 I think it’s a great investment for your skin and I would recommend it for sure. I really like how clean it leaves my skin feeling, that it is easy to clean without any maintenance costs of buying any new heads like you have to with bristle cleansing brushes.
