Today lets talk some serious beauty tool tips…Do you love foundation as much as me? Always on the look-out for that airbrush / flawless finish with your foundation then lets talk about the latest product I have to review released by Magnitone London.
Foundation is my one make up product that is absolutely a daily essential for me so trying out all types of application methods, be it, beauty blenders, silicone blenders or brushes is almost as fun as discovering a new must have foundation!
So lets hear what Magnitone have to say about their blending brush:
“BlendUp will take your makeup to the next level. The brush has been developed under the expert guidance of celebrity makeup artist, Paul Herrington, to give a professional finish, without the years of practice.
The ultra-soft SmoothBlend™ Brush Head has been designed to blend, contour, tint, blush and bronze your makeup to airbrushed perfection
Plus it has Biomaster antibacterial protection to help prevent cross-contamination and unwanted breakouts.
Fully USB rechargeable in 2 hours and with 2 speeds for greater control, your makeup look will become effortlessly flawless, and your skin will be more energised and toned underneath by our unique Vibra-Sonic™ technology. Makeup, Naturally Better.
There are 3 different application methods, for a lighter, medium of full coverage, each method slightly different from the next to help you achieve your desired coverage.
For me I like the dot technique whereby you add a small dots of product all over your face and then blend to get a great even coverage – and simply add more product if you want to build a higher coverage. I personally think it maybe good to do half face at a time and then work the product in as some foundation sets quickly so I like to work around my face in sections.
Operating this brush is as simple as giving it a charge via the USB cable and then press the button to engage the vibra sonic brush to evenly blend your make up to give you an airbrushed finish.
I would say that if you don’t use a cleansing brush currently, then you might find that you might have an initial breakout of a few spots – well this was the case for me. But fear not, if you can get past that, its a great brush and beauty tool and I highly recommend it. As it vibrates so much I feel it ‘wakes and cleanses’ your pores a lot initially but that’s actually a great thing as it means once your pores are clear make up applies so much better to give you the desired smooth complexion.
At £70 a pop its an invest makeup tool but it takes your foundation application and finish to the next level, its blends beautifully, offers a light, medium or full coverage and is super easy to use, clean and charge! All in all a great offering and something that would be amazing on a Christmas wish list!
